At Rowley Animal Hospital we have multiple specialists who are able to travel to us to treat your pets in the comfort of their own veterinary office.  We are able to reduce the need for visits to large specialty and referral hospitals and help provide specialty level care in our hospital close to home!  Our specialists work closely with Dr. DiBoot and our team to ensure your pet receives the best personalized care.

Cardiology

 Tai Casagrande, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Cardiology)

Dr. Tai Casagrande is a board-certified veterinary Cardiologist.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Cornell University, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, and she completed her residency in veterinary cardiology at The University of Wisconsin. 

Dr. Casagrande has been practicing as a veterinary cardiologist in her home state of Massachusetts since 2012.  In 2016 she started her own mobile practice (Casagrande Cardiology, PLLC).  She travels to veterinary clinics throughout Massachusetts to provide in-house cardiology evaluations and consultations. 

In her free time, Dr. Casagrande enjoys reading medical thrillers, relaxing with friends and family, backyard birdwatching, and rooting for all New England teams. 

Michelle Powers, DVM, DACVS, DACVSMR, CCRT

Michelle Powers, DVM, DACVS, DACVSMR, CCRT

Dr. Powers is our MOVES veterinary surgery partner in the NH/MA region. She is available to perform advanced orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries at Rowley Animal Hospital. Dr. Powers earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 1999, then spent the next several years completing multiple internships and conducting research as the PennHIP post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her surgical residency and also served on the faculty at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and earned board certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) in 2008. In 2014, she earned board certification from the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ACVSMR). She is also certified as a canine rehabilitation therapist (CCRT). Dr. Powers has a particular interest in orthopedics and soft tissue surgeries, including oncologic, cardio-thoracic, and reconstructive procedures. 

In her free time, Mich enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, and participating in agility courses with her dogs, Chibi, Fuchi, Pochi, and Taro.

Internal Medicine and Ultrasound

Michael Estrin, MPH, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Estrin received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  He completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York and then returned to the University of Minnesota for residency training.  He practiced internal medicine at referral hospitals in Minnesota and Missouri and later worked as a consultant for IDEXX Laboratories.  While consulting with IDEXX, Dr. Estrin earned his Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from Boston University.  In 2014, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Division of Comparative Medicine at MIT where his research involved the treatment of influenza virus infections.  He has been practicing Internal Medicine at Westford Veterinary Emergency Referral Center in Westford Massachusetts since 2014.  

Dr. Estrin offers mobile diagnostic ultrasound (abdominal, cervical, and non-cardiac thoracic) and is available to perform ultrasound examinations at Rowley Animal Hospital.
